Being the only country that celebrate Christmas as early as September the 1st; Philippines is full of great things to do during the Christmas month! So fight the temptation to snooze in front of the fireplace and head out for some fun-packed days for all ages.

There are things around us that we didn’t even know that even those small details are much more important in defining what really Christmas is but far from those always about directly around us there are things or simple things we need to do this yuletide season.

Want something fun and festive to do? Christmas tips, ideas, advice packed into our fun stuff Christmas to make sure that your Christmas is packed full of festive fun. Here’s some ideas or possible things you can do:

Christmas is somehow a way to exit the world of stress either from school or work but why not spend your holiday developing a hobby. Whether its writing, photography, cooking, graphic design or just about anything else; this hobby could make you more prepared for your future profession, or could be an opportunity for you to start your own small business. It may be a good idea to get help from someone with more experience or take some classes to improve your skills.

Aside from developing a hobby, you’re also getting yourself to a better lifestyle of keeping in track and staying healthy. You’re not just getting fit but also adopting some healthy habits this Christmas. Your health is your business and it’s best that you start healthy habits early in life.

If you have a lot of money on your pocket, go green and pack up for a trip. You also deserve to unwind yourself even if you do nothing.

Why not get charitable this Christmas? Not only will you be helping those in need, you’ll also sort your Christmas gift buying in a snap. Plus, you’ll also be teaching your little ones that giving gifts can bestow the warm ‘n’ fuzzies just as much receiving them! Just being said on my previous post that Christmas is not about what you get but on how much you can share to people around you. Being an advocate in helping kids in need, it is a fulfillment seeing them happy; a smile painted on their faces that gives you a priceless satisfaction is the thing that pay-ed off your hard work and kindness.

While you’re on drive of doing fantastic charitable activity, why not adopt a four-legged friend? This support the conservation of endangered animals; not only do all profits go to fund the care and protection of your chosen wild animal, you will also get your own ‘adoption’ papers and a real cuddly plush version too. You can visit PAWS (The Philippine Animal Welfare Society) offices near you for legality of adopting animals.

Catching up to your family and friends. You can do stuff you weren’t able to do for them; I guess this season is the best thing to do whatever you have in your mind. Go dinner together, watch movies, small parties or even just a small get-together inside the house.

But above all, take a REST. You’re on holiday from school/work for several reasons, and resting is one of them. Take the few days you have to relax and have some personal time. Yes, you may have planned some things for the holiday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sleep longer hours or just lay around for a bit doing nothing in particular.

Oopss! Before I forget let us all include to give praise this Christmas. This is a good time to give thanks for the past year, and think of the abundant blessings in the year to come. Merry Christmas!
